Blossom – 2 year old female French Bulldog

Blossom is a beautiful young Frenchie girl. She is super clever and a pleasure to take for a walk. She loves food and this makes training easier. Blossom needs a quiet stable adult only home. Ideally she needs somewhere that has little change and is willing to accept her special needs. Because of her current training needs we would advise against her having any interaction with children. She does have some behavioural issues which have been worked on during her stay here but would need ongoing training in her new home. She loves her food and at the kennels is fed a raw diet of natural instinct.

Blossom has been healthy during her stay with us at Glendee. But please be aware, this breed often has health problems so you must be prepared to research the breed and have funds for any potential vet visits should they arise. Blossom has issues with resource guarding. This has been over food and areas of value to her such as her bed. She is unsure of people initially and needs time to meet them and build a relationship slowly. Here at the kennels we take things very slowly with Blossom and let her work things out at her pace. We never push her or force her to do anything that would cause her to feel the need to react. A home willing to adopt Blossom would need to meet her in a few occasions at the kennels before she left us for her new life. This would be to show how she is in different environments and allow the new home to establish a good relationship.

This is our current assessment, the assessments are on-going as always, and although we temperament test our dogs in many situations, we can not know how they be when they arrive in your home, support is given as always be given by the trainer you are matched to.
