Beeba is a 6 year old male French Bulldog. Due to a potential adopters messing around this absolutely gorgeous French Bulldog still needs a new family. He is 6 years old and needing a new home due to his owners change in circumstances, making it impossible for her to give him the care he needs. He is very friendly, affectionate and playful. He will have you in stitches laughing at his clowning antics. Beeba is one of those individuals that makes you smile, just because he is there. He is very affectionate and full of fun. He is houses trained, has not been destructive. He travels well and adores the car. He would make an excellent driving companion.
Beeba snores and farts like an old trouper and makes the most wonderful snorting noises in conversation. Beeba wants a home where he wont be left home alone a lot, and can be spoiled rotten and treated like Royalty. He is good with other dogs, has always lived with several, and loves to play with puppies, but we feel he would be best homed ether as an only dog, or with a female dog. He gets frustrated with big young males who he cant keep up with.
Beeba grew up with children and adores them. But like most Frenchie’s he is built like a tank and would easily knock small children over – with the intention of covering them with sloppy kisses of course. His general obedience is pretty good, on and off lead, though (possibly) reduced hearing makes his response to the recall is a bit slow when called to change direction, when free on a walk. Or it could just be bulldog stubbornness. He cant reach very high, but he can use his body as a mean battering ram to barge his way through.
We have had a soft palette resection on Beeba to improve his breathing and this went well. He had previously lost an eye due an unknown injury – probably ran into a door or something! He does suffer from. Sensitive skin but this is well controlled with diet and appropriate skin care. Though it’s possible he made need a antibiotics from time to time if it flares up and becomes infected.
Beeba is near the Sanctuary (Kidwelly) and you will need to be able to visit to meet / collect him after our vetting procedures have been completed.
